Berlin’s rave scene has been at the centre of activism since the early 90s.
This body of work documents this in its current form.

Fighting for human rights and more LGBTQI inclusivity is at the core of these parades.

As a photographer, I carry a responsibility to uphold these safe spaces for all people attending the events. In my practise of capturing subjects, I make myself available and approachable immediately after taking a photo for the subject to notify me if they would prefer to not have their photo taken or published.
